CAN-2017D DeviceNet Slave Analog Input Module, 8-ch Differential
Eight-channel differential analog input module with a DeviceNet Group 2 slave interface, 16-bit resolution and ranges from ±150 mV to ±20 mA. Supports polled, bit-strobe and explicit messaging.

The CAN-2017D brings eight differential analog inputs onto a DeviceNet network as a general I/O slave. Input status can be read and the channel configuration set over the network, using the EDS file supplied for the DeviceNet master, so the module can be commissioned without custom firmware.
It acts as a Group 2 Only Server (non UCMM-capable) and uses the predefined master/slave connection set, with one connection each for explicit messaging, polled I/O and bit-strobe I/O. Heartbeat and shutdown messages are supported. The manufacturer lists communication with Allen-Bradley 193-DNENCAT and 193-DNENCATR gateways and several OMRON DeviceNet masters.
