TPD-283-M2 CR is a compact 2.8-inch touch HMI with a high-resolution TFT colour display, designed for building and home automation. Its Ethernet port takes power over PoE, so a single cable can supply both power and network connectivity. It is intended to replace mechanical switches with intelligent control pads that show user-defined screens.
The unit supports Modbus TCP and a custom communication protocol written in C. Its wall-mounting design fits into a standard electrical wall outlet arrangement, and it includes a buzzer, a rotary switch and a reset button.
Application programs can be created in the free HMIWorks tool. PLC users can work with Ladder Designer, while users with programming experience can use the C language environment. The TPD-283-M2 CR is supplied with a gray cover and carries CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE certifications.
