VPD-133-H2 CR is a 3.5-inch touch HMI from the TouchPAD VPD series, suited to engineers who need a compact operator panel with network connectivity. The 240 x 320 TFT display offers 65535 colours, and a 5-key programmable rubber keypad, rotary switch and buzzer complement the touchscreen for operators who need physical controls.
This ordering code provides two serial ports, one configurable as RS-232 or RS-485 and one RS-485, plus an RJ-45 Ethernet port with PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 1). The built-in real time clock and 16 MB SDRAM/16 MB Flash storage support data logging and time-stamped operation. Power can be taken from PoE or from a +12 ~ 48 VDC terminal block.
Application programs are built with the free HMIWorks software, which offers graphical screen design, Ladder Designer for PLC users and a C language environment. The front panel is rated IP65 and the unit is designed for DIN-rail or panel mounting. Expansion is possible with XV-Boards.
