USB-87P2-G CR expands industrial I/O over a single USB port. Its two slots accept I-87K series modules, giving engineers a compact way to add analogue, digital, counter and frequency channels to a host PC through a DCON-based interface.
The unit is built for harsh, electrically noisy sites. It accepts a wide 10 ~ 30 VDC supply, provides isolated power input and operates from -25 ~ +75 °C. Hot swapping, automatic configuration and LED fault indication simplify installation and maintenance, while dual watchdog, programmable power-on and safe values support safe, predictable operation.
Software support includes a DLL, a LabVIEW driver, an InduSoft driver, a Linux driver and an OPC server, so modules fitted to the unit can be integrated into a variety of software systems.
