SG-770 CR is a 7-channel surge protector for differential signal lines. Each channel is protected to 6 kV against surge, so it suits engineers who need to shield sensitive I/O and field wiring from transients in industrial installations.
Each channel accepts signals from 0 V to ±30 V and is tested to IEC 61000-4-5 and IEC 61000-4-12, with surge levels of up to ±6000 V line to earth. The protector handles voltage, current, thermocouple, RTD, RS-485/422, RS-232, CAN bus and FRnet signal types, so one module can cover mixed sensor and communication wiring.
The module is designed for quick installation, with easy wire connections and DIN-rail mounting. It is rated for an operating range of -25 °C to 75 °C and a storage range of -30 °C to 75 °C, at 5% to 95% RH non-condensing.
