The PISO-DA16U/S CR is a universal PCI analog output board with 16 channels of 14-bit output. Each channel can be set individually to voltage (±10 V) or current (0 to 20 mA), which suits engineers who need mixed signal types on one card.
The board is designed as a drop-in replacement for the PIO-DA series, so existing software and drivers do not need to be modified. Its 2500 V DC bus-type isolation helps protect the host PC from power surges. Calibration is performed in software, and the calibration data is stored in EEPROM, so no jumpers or trim-pots are needed.
This /S variant ships with a CA-3710 D-Sub cable. Choose the CR connector version (CA-4002) if you prefer that accessory instead. The onboard 4-bit Card ID switch lets software identify the board when two or more cards are fitted in the same computer.
