NS-206AFC-T CR is an unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch that combines four RJ-45 copper ports with two 100Base-FX multi-mode fibre ports fitted with SC connectors. It is intended for connecting devices over copper while carrying the uplink or longer runs over fibre, where electrical noise would otherwise be a concern. Transmissions run at 100 Mbps over distances of up to 2 km when 62.5/125 μm fibre is used.
The switch accepts a wide +12 to +48 VDC supply with redundant power inputs and reverse polarity protection, so it can be fed from several common DC standards without an external converter. A relay alarm output and status LEDs (PWR1, PWR2, PWR_Fault, Link/Act, 10/100M) give visibility of power and link health.
Its store-and-forward switching, 2048-entry MAC table and IEEE 802.3x flow control make it suitable for simple, unmanaged network segments. It mounts on a DIN rail and is rated for an operating range of -30 °C to +75 °C.
