The I-8040W-G CR is a 32-channel digital input module from the I-8K/I-87K high profile series, designed for engineers who need many photocoupler-isolated wet-contact inputs in a single module. Each channel can be configured as a sink or source input through wiring, which suits both NPN and PNP sensor arrangements.
Electrical protection is built in: every terminal is rated for ±4 kV ESD contact, and the module provides 3750 VDC intra-module isolation. Inputs read ON at +10 ~ +30 VDC and OFF at +4 VDC maximum, with an input impedance of 3 kΩ, 0.5W. Operating range is -25 ~ +75 °C.
This ordering code includes the CA-4002F DB37 female connector. An optional daughter board, such as the DN-37-381-A CR, can be fitted to simplify field wiring. The module is certified to CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE.
