The tPET-P6 is a tiny Ethernet I/O module that brings six sink/source wet-contact digital inputs onto a 10/100 Mbit/s network. It can be read and controlled from SCADA, HMI and PLC systems using Modbus TCP, Modbus UDP or MQTT, and its built-in web server handles configuration without extra software.
Each input supports latched detection, 32-bit counting and frequency measurement, with a 3.5 kHz frequency rating when the input filter is disabled. The I/O pair connection feature lets the module poll local inputs and write to a remote device over Ethernet in the background, which is useful for simple distributed control without a central controller in the loop.
Power can come from a standard Category 5 cable via IEEE 802.3af Class 1 PoE, or from a +12 to +48 VDC terminal block input when no PoE switch is available. A dual-watchdog arrangement covers both the module firmware and the host, with a programmable safe value for outputs if the host fails. The unit is housed in a 52 x 95 x 27 mm enclosure for DIN-rail mounting.
