The iKAN-216A is a double-row industrial LED message display for PLC-driven signage. Each row holds 16 ASCII or 8 Unicode characters, and messages can be shown or hidden directly from Modbus commands issued by a PLC, making it a straightforward way to present live process data on the plant floor.
Messages and variables are managed through a web-based user interface, accessed from a PC, smartphone or tablet. The display stores up to 128 common messages with user-defined priorities and combines text with up to 168 variables within a single message. A built-in real time clock supports date and time display in 24-hour format.
Connectivity includes two RJ-45 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet ports and two RS-485 ports for Modbus RTU master or slave operation. The housing is aluminum and the unit is designed for wall mounting, with an operating range of 0 ~ +60 °C and a DC 5V power input.
