The iKAN-116 CR is a single-row industrial LED message display for PLC-driven text output. It shows up to 16 ASCII or 8 Unicode characters per line, in seven selectable colours. A PLC can show or hide stored messages, or send encoded strings for display, over Modbus.
Messages and variables are configured through a web-based interface. The display stores up to 128 common messages with user-defined priority levels, and each message can combine text with live variables from a shared data pool of 40 coil, 64 float and 64 integer values. A built-in real-time clock supports date and time display.
Connectivity includes two RS-485 ports for Modbus RTU master or slave operation, and two RJ-45 switch ports for Ethernet. The unit has an aluminium casing for wall mounting, accepts 100 ~ 240 VAC, and is rated for 0 ~ +60°C operation. It carries CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE certification marks.
