CAN-Logger200 CR is a two-port CAN bus data logger for capturing traffic on CAN networks without a PC attached for the whole session. Each CAN message is time-stamped at 10 us resolution and written to an SD or SDHC card, so recorded data can be reviewed later for analysis and fault diagnosis.
Logging runs continuously and stores binary files on a card, 4 GB by default and up to 32 GB supported. When the card is full, the logger overwrites older data. A bundled configuration utility sets the CAN acceptance filters and baud rate from 10 kbps to 1 Mbps, and can also transmit and receive CAN messages over the USB 2.0 Type B port.
The CAN side is isolated, with 2500 Vrms photocoupler isolation and 3000 VDC DC-to-DC isolation on the CAN port. Each M12 5-pin CAN connector has a DIP-switch selectable 120 Ω terminal resistor. The unit runs from +10 VDC to +30 VDC or from USB power, and its metal housing is designed for wall mounting.
