The tPET-A4 is a compact Ethernet I/O module that gives engineers remote control of four source-type (PNP) open-collector digital outputs over 10/100 Base-Tx Ethernet. It supports Modbus TCP, Modbus UDP and MQTT, so it can be integrated with HMI, SCADA, PLC and other software systems.
A dual-watchdog design protects the process. The CPU watchdog resets the system if the built-in firmware runs abnormally, while the host watchdog switches the outputs to a predefined Safe Value if the controller fails. Power can come from PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 1) over a standard category 5 cable, or from a +12 to +48 VDC terminal block input when no PoE switch is available.
The module measures 52 x 95 x 27 mm (W x L x H), mounts on DIN-rail and can be embedded directly in a machine. Two removable terminal blocks simplify wiring. The operating range is -25 ~ +75 °C.
