USB-2020 CR is a USB audio device that adds stereo line-out and microphone input to a host PC or industrial controller. It uses 16-bit delta-sigma converters and can drive headphones and passive speakers directly, so it suits compact audio paths without an external amplifier stage.
Audio input supports 8, 11.025, 16, 22.05, 32, 44.1 and 48 kHz sampling, while output supports 32, 44.1 and 48 kHz, in mono or stereo. Volume and mute control are built in. The device is powered from a +10 VDC to +30 VDC terminal block and switches automatically between USB and external power.
The unit installs as Plug-and-Play under Windows 2000 through Windows 10 and Linux. The XPAC-8000 already includes the USB-2020 driver. The order includes a CA-USB18 USB 2.0 A-male to B-male cable, 1.8 m long. The device is rated for DIN-rail mounting and carries CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE marks.
