The R-9015 CR is a 12-channel RTD temperature input module for the RIO-98x0 redundant I/O system. It accepts Pt100, JPt100 and Pt1000 sensors, with a measurement accuracy of ±0.05% FSR and a 16-bit A/D converter. Measurement ranges and temperature offsets can be set to suit each application, and high and low alarms flag abnormal channel temperatures immediately.
Wiring integrity is monitored at two levels. The module detects channel disconnections and also detects when the termination board is disconnected. The R-9015 CR must be used with an RDB-S03 or RDB-D03 terminal board to connect field signals. Power supply and backplane bus are isolated at 3000 VDC, which helps reduce noise interference in industrial environments.
Redundancy is supported, so the system can continue to operate if a single I/O module fails, with a redundant switching time of less than 1 ms. This version is the RoHS-compliant variant of the 12-ch RTD Input Module.
