The DB-24SSR provides 24 Form A solid-state relays on a single daughter board. Each relay is switched by a 5 V signal applied to its channel on the 50-pin header or the 37-pin D-sub connector, so it can be driven directly from a logic output without a mechanical contact.
Relay outputs are rated at 4 A at 240 VAC. Because the board isolates the host computer from high-voltage loads and removes ground-loop problems, it suits field wiring of switched AC loads. Twenty-four LEDs show the status of each relay, and screw terminals simplify wiring. Since the 37-pin D-sub connector accepts TTL outputs from other boards, the DB-24SSR can also serve as a general-purpose solid-state relay output board.
