The CNT-PROFI CR connects a PROFIBUS node to the PROFIBUS line. Its quick-connect technology means the bus conductors do not need to be stripped, so a device can be linked to the line quickly during installation.
The connector has a plastic housing with integrated terminating resistors, and a built-in switch lets you select the terminating resistor to suit the position of the node on the bus. It provides a 9-pin D-Sub male connector with a 90° cable outlet and two cable entries.
Supported baud rates are 9.6kbps ~ 12Mbps. The unit is rated for an operating temperature of -25 ~ +75 ℃ and a storage temperature of -30 ~ +80 ℃, with humidity of 10 ~ 90% RH, non-condensing.
