Isolated tM series RS-485 module combining 4 analog inputs, 2 wet-contact digital inputs and 2 sink-type digital outputs. Supports DCON, Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII.

The tM-AD4P2C2 is a compact DIN-rail I/O module that brings analog measurement, digital sensing and switched output into one unit on an RS-485 bus. Its two voltage and two current input channels cover a choice of standard signal ranges, so one module can handle mixed sensor types without extra signal conditioning.
Each analog channel can be configured individually, with a selectable sampling mode: a normal mode at 10 Hz with 14-bit resolution, or a fast mode at 200 Hz with 12-bit resolution. The two digital inputs can also be used as 16-bit counters, and the two sink-type outputs can act as voltage input limit alarms, which helps when you need local alarm behaviour alongside data acquisition.
Power-on and safe values for the digital outputs are programmable, and the module offers dual watchdog protection covering both the module and communication. The 2500 VDC intra-module isolation and the listed ESD and EFT immunity ratings make it suitable for electrically demanding cabinets. Communication uses DCON, Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII, selected through software.
