The iKAN-116-IP65 CR is a single-row LED message display for industrial control panels, factory floors and other environments where a PLC needs to show live status text. It is controlled over Modbus and can show or hide stored messages or send encoded strings for display, so no custom display programming is needed on the PLC side.
The display stores up to 128 common messages, each with a user-defined priority, and can combine fixed text with up to 168 variables within one message. It offers seven colours (red, blue, yellow, green, light blue, purple and white), a built-in real-time clock and a web-based user interface for configuration and message editing from a PC, smartphone or tablet.
Communication is provided by two RJ-45 switch ports (10/100 Base-TX) and two RS-485 ports for Modbus RTU master or slave use. The aluminium housing is rated IP65 and the unit is designed for wall mounting, with a 100 ~ 240 VAC power input. Certifications listed for the series are CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE.
