WISE-5800 CR is a web-configured controller for remote logic control and monitoring. Control logic is set up through its built-in web pages in a browser, so no separate software tool is needed and no conventional programming is involved. IF-THEN-ELSE rules, timers, schedules and recipes are all configured this way.
The unit extends its I/O through an XW-Board expansion bus for digital and analogue channels, and it can also drive remote I/O from the I-7000 series (up to 16 modules) or Modbus RTU slave devices (up to 10). This lets engineers mix I/O types and vendors to suit the application.
For supervisory systems, the controller speaks Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU for straightforward SCADA integration. An onboard microSD data logger records I/O values on an event trigger or at regular intervals, and the files can be sent by FTP or non-SSL Email.
