The PFN-2055 CR connects an 8-channel digital input and 8-channel digital output block to a PROFINET network as an IO Device. Each input accepts dry or wet contacts, and each output is an open-collector sink with short-circuit protection, so it can switch field loads directly within its voltage and current ratings.
Configuration uses the generic GSDML file (version 2.25), so the module can be added and parameterised from any PROFINET engineering tool. With Conformance Class B, RT Class 1 and a minimum cycle time of 1 ms, it suits applications that need deterministic cyclic I/O exchange.
The module is rated for an operating temperature of -25 ~ +75 ℃ and mounts on DIN-rail. Ordering code PFN-2055 CR is the version offered here.
