PFN-2052 CR is a PROFINET IO Device that brings eight isolated digital inputs onto a PROFINET network. It suits factory and process automation installations where discrete field signals need to be read over Ethernet.
The inputs are wet-contact type, with an ON level of +4 VDC to +30 VDC and an OFF level of +1 VDC maximum. Both sink and source wiring are supported. The module offers a cyclic time of 1 ms minimum and meets PROFINET Conformance Class B and RT Class 1.
Integration is straightforward: a generic GSDML file (version 2.25) is provided, so the module can be added to any PROFINET engineering tool. It is DIN-rail mounted and rated for an operating temperature of -25 ~ +75 ℃.
