The CAN-2017C CR is a CANopen slave module that brings eight differential analog inputs onto a CANopen network. It suits engineers who need to read sensor signals over CAN bus using the standard CANopen protocol, with input status and channel settings accessed through conventional CANopen objects rather than custom code.
Each channel offers 16-bit resolution and a choice of input ranges from ±10 V down to ±150 mV, plus -20 mA to +20 mA when an optional external 125 Ω resistor is fitted. Channels can be configured individually, and the module supports Dynamic PDO alongside event-triggered, remotely requested, cyclic and acyclic SYNC transmission modes.
The module has passed validation with the CiA CANopen Conformance Test tool and includes a default EDS file. It operates from +10 to +30 VDC, provides 3000 VDC isolation and is designed for DIN-rail installation across an operating range of -25 to +75 °C. The CR ordering code is the RoHS version of the module.
