The e-USB404 CR adds four independent USB 3.1 Gen 1 host controllers to an AXP-9000-IoT Programmable Automation Controller through a single e-Bus x4 slot. It suits engineers who need several USB devices running at the same time, particularly USB vision cameras that generate large volumes of image data.
Each port has its own controller and an LED status indicator, and all four Type-A connectors are accessible on the panel for straightforward wiring. Each port supplies 5 V at up to 900 mA, with overload and short-circuit protection. Power to each port can be switched on and off in software through the SDK, which allows a hung USB device to be reset for failure recovery.
