IR-712P-MTCP is a PoE-powered IR learning module that records IR remote commands from a wide range of electronic devices, stores them in the module or saves them to a file, and replays them on demand. It has two IR output channels that can drive devices individually or simultaneously, with capacity for 512 IR commands.
Control is through a 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet port using Modbus TCP/UDP or an ASCII string command set over DCON (TCP/UDP). This makes it straightforward to integrate with Modbus clients such as PACs, PLCs and PCs, so existing control systems can trigger IR devices without dedicated remote controls. The accompanying IR utility covers configuration, learning, testing and storage of commands.
Two CA-IR-SH2251 IR emitter cables are included with the ordering code. The module suits smart home and building automation projects where IR control of AV, lighting or other equipment needs to be networked.
