The VP-6201-CE7 CR is a 15-inch ViewPAC that brings the operator interface, controller and communications into a single fanless panel-mount unit. It suits projects where an engineer wants HMI, data acquisition and control in one device rather than a separate panel PC and PAC.
The unit is built around a 1.0 GHz Cortex-A8 processor with 512 MB DDR3 SDRAM, 256 MB flash and 128 KB MRAM for data retention. A 1024 x 768 TFT display carries a resistive 5-wire touch panel. Connectivity includes one 10/100/1000 Ethernet port, three RS-232/RS-485 serial ports with 2500 VDC isolation, two USB 2.0 host ports and an optional SD card of up to 32 GB. Power can be supplied from +12 to 48 VDC or from PoE.
Windows CE 7.0 provides the runtime, with .NET Compact Framework 3.5, an FTP server, a web server and SQL Compact Edition 3.5 included. The front panel is rated NEMA 4/IP65 and the operating range is -10 to +60 °C. The CR variant is listed as the standard 15-inch model with RoHS compliance.
