The MN-HUB4 CR is a Motionnet hub module that lets engineers build star or tree networks where standard Motionnet only supports daisy-chain wiring. Each of its four RJ-45 channels has its own independent Motionnet transceiver, so every branch is handled separately.
Using a hub reduces the total cable run and the wiring effort. The module supports transfer speeds of 2.5, 5, 10 and 20 Mbps, with the following limits:
- 100 M max. at 20 Mbps, up to 32 modules
- 50 M max. at 20 Mbps, up to 64 modules
- 100 M max. at 10 Mbps, up to 64 modules
Per-channel LEDs show Motionnet activity and the module is powered from 12 - 24 V, rated for 0 ~ +60 °C operation. The CR variant uses the RJ-45 jack connector.
