BACnet
The BNET-2310M CR is a remote I/O module that brings 4 analogue inputs, 2 analogue outputs, 4 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs onto a BACnet/IP network. A BMS or BACnet/IP client can read field sensor signals directly over Ethernet and command connected analogue or digital output devices, without a separate gateway. The module operates as a BACnet/IP Server and also supports Foreign Device functionality. It can register with a specified BBMD to receive BACnet/IP messages forwarded across different IP subnets, which suits multi-floor buildings, multi-building facilities, industrial sites and larger BEMS installations.Configuration is handled through a built-in web server, so the module can be set up from a standard web browser. Configuration files can be imported and exported for backup and repeat deployments. The CR ordering code is the RoHS-marked variant.ApplicationsHVAC control and monitoring in building automationLighting and energy managementBMS and BEMS integration via BACnet/IPMulti-floor buildings and multi-building facilitiesIndustrial sites with BACnet/IP field I/O
GW-2139M bridges Modbus TCP and BACnet MS/TP, so Modbus TCP clients can read and write standard BACnet objects on a building network. It acts as a configurable BACnet MS/TP master on the serial side and as a Modbus TCP server on the Ethernet side, making it useful where existing Modbus equipment must be integrated into a BACnet system without replacing devices.Modbus coils, input registers and holding registers can be mapped to BACnet object properties, and a simple data translation function adjusts values as they pass between the two protocols. Supported BACnet object types include AI, AO, AV, BI, BO, BV, MSI, MSO and MSV, and the listed BIBBs cover standard read and write services and device management functions. All data transfer is configured with the ICPDAS Utility. The DIN-rail mounted metal housing is suited to control cabinets, with a specified operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C. The unit is supplied as the GW-2139M CR, with CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE certifications listed.ApplicationsBuilding automationHeating, ventilating and air-conditioning controlLighting controlAccess controlFire detection systems
GW-2439M is a network gateway for integrating BACnet/IP devices into Modbus-based host systems. It works as a BACnet/IP Client on one side and as a Modbus TCP Server and Modbus RTU Slave on the other, so a SCADA system, PLC or other Modbus master can read and write BACnet object values without implementing BACnet itself.Engineers typically choose the GW-2439M for multi-subnet BACnet/IP installations. It can receive BACnet/IP messages forwarded between subnets by a BBMD and identify their source devices, which helps with device discovery in large buildings, campuses and industrial sites. Batch reads of several objects from one BACnet device reduce the number of individual requests on the network.Configuration is handled with a dedicated software tool that scans BACnet/IP servers and their objects, lets you set up object mappings and generates the Modbus mapping table automatically. Configuration files can be imported and exported to speed up deployment. The unit is CE, UKCA, RoHS and WEEE marked and mounts on a DIN rail.ApplicationsBuilding automationHVAC controlLighting controlAccess controlBEMS and SCADA integration
GW-2492M lets BACnet/IP clients read and write Modbus RTU registers. The unit acts as a Modbus RTU master on its serial side, polling up to 32 stations, and presents the data to the building management network as BACnet objects.Modbus discrete inputs, coils, input registers and holding registers can be mapped to any combination of BACnet AI, AO, AV, BI, BO, BV, MSI, MSO and MSV objects, with up to 180 points each for DI, DO, AI and AO. Simple data translation can be applied as values pass between the two protocols. Several BIBBs are supported, including DS-RP-B, DS-RPM-B, DS-WP-B, DS-WPM-B, DM-DDB-B, DM-DOB-B, DM-DCC-B and DM-RD-B.Setup is done entirely in a standard web browser, covering both the configurable BACnet/IP server and the Modbus RTU master. The metal housing mounts on DIN-rail and accepts a +10 ~ +30 VDC supply, with an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C.ApplicationsBuilding AutomationHeating, Ventilating, and Air-conditioning ControlLighting ControlAccess ControlFire Detection Systems
GW-2493M is a network gateway that gives BACnet/IP clients access to Modbus devices, acting as a Modbus TCP client on the field side. It suits building automation projects where Modbus equipment must be integrated into a BACnet network. The gateway provides a large pool of BACnet objects (AI, AO, AV, BI, BO, BV, MSI, MSO and MSV), so Modbus TCP registers can be mapped flexibly onto any combination of them. Data can be manipulated in simple ways as it passes between the two protocols. Several BIBBs are supported, including DS-RP-B, DS-RPM-B, DS-WP-B and DS-WPM-B, and all configuration is carried out through a standard web browser.Typical use cases include HVAC control, lighting control, access control and fire detection systems. The metal housing mounts on a DIN rail and accepts a +10 ~ +30 VDC supply.ApplicationsBuilding automationHeating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) controlLighting controlAccess controlFire detection systems
