The I-7011D CR is a DIN-rail I/O module for measuring voltage, current or thermocouple signals over RS-485 using the DCON protocol. Its single differential analogue input offers 16-bit resolution and supports the standard thermocouple types J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N and C, with open thermocouple detection to flag broken sensor wiring.
Beyond the analogue channel, the module provides one dry-contact digital input configured as a 50 Hz event counter and two open-collector digital outputs that can be used for high and low alarm signalling. A 5-digit 7-segment LED display and a power and communication status LED give local visibility without a PC.
The module is isolated to 3000 VDC between its internal circuits and offers a built-in dual watchdog for module and communication monitoring. It is supplied from +10 ~ +30 VDC with reverse polarity protection and is rated for operation from -25 ~ +75 °C. This blue-cover ordering code suits building, factory and machine automation, remote maintenance and diagnosis, and test equipment.
