The tSL-P4R1 CR is a DIN-rail stack light monitoring module for machine status tracking. It reads the state of each colour segment on a DC-type stack light, so operators and supervisory systems can see whether a segment is on, off or flashing without interfering with the machine's own control circuit. Four DC digital inputs and one Form A relay output allow it to monitor the indicator and pass alarm signals to external devices.
Beyond single-segment readings, the module can be configured to recognise user-defined combinations of colour segments, with up to 81 combinations supported. It also reports how long the previous status lasted, which helps engineers analyse downtime and cycle patterns. Data is available over RS-485 with Modbus RTU, or over Ethernet with Modbus TCP or MQTT, making it straightforward to connect to SCADA and MES platforms.
Configuration is carried out through the built-in web interface, which is protected by an IP whitelist and password. Firmware can be updated over Ethernet. Redundant power is provided by either the terminal block (+10 ~ +48 VDC) or PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 1), and the unit is rated for operation from -25 ~ +75 °C.
