The iKAN-116A is a single-row LED message display for PLC-driven signage. It shows up to 16 ASCII or 8 Unicode characters in one of seven colours, and it can be controlled from a PLC, a PC or a smartphone through its web interface.
Messages can be combined with live data. The display holds 128 common messages with user-set priorities, and each message can mix text with up to 168 variables from a data pool of coils, floats and integers. The iKAN-116A also connects directly to ICP DAS DL and CL series sensor modules and shows their real-time readings.
For networked systems, the unit offers Modbus TCP, Modbus TLS, EtherNet/IP, MQTT and Redfish over two RJ-45 switch ports, with Modbus RTU on two RS-485 ports. The built-in real-time clock supports time-stamped displays.
