DP-640 is a 40 W switching power supply with universal AC input, converting 90~264 VAC to a regulated 24 VDC output rated at 1.7 A. It suits engineers who need a compact, DIN-rail mounted 24 VDC source for control equipment without manually selecting an input range.
Protection is built in: overload and short-circuit conditions are handled by auto-recovery, and over-voltage is handled by a crowbar circuit. The output holds up for more than 20 ms at rated load and 115 VAC, which helps ride through brief mains interruptions. Cooling is by free air convection, so no fan is required.
