The WP-9828-CE7 is an 8-slot programmable automation controller that combines embedded Win-GRAF SoftLogic (IEC 61131-3) with a Windows CE 7.0 operating environment. It suits engineers who want logic control, HMI and data handling on one controller, with a VGA output for a local display and a wide choice of serial, Ethernet and USB ports.
The unit is built around a 1.0 GHz Cortex-A8 processor with 512 MB DDR3 SDRAM and 256 MB of flash, and it provides eight expansion slots for high profile I-9K and I-97K I/O modules. Logic can be developed in Win-GRAF, while HMI and data management applications can be written in VB .NET or C# using MS Visual Studio 2008 and exchange data with the Win-GRAF programs.
Communication covers Modbus RTU and TCP in master and slave roles, Modbus ASCII master, OPC UA server and DCON. Redundant power inputs of +10 ~ 30 VDC with 1 kV isolation support resilient installations. The metal housing mounts on DIN-rail or by wall mounting, and the unit operates from -25 ~ +75°C.
