The I-8017H CR is an 8-channel differential analogue input module for engineers who need fast, individually configurable measurement of voltage or current signals. Each channel can be set to its own input range, from ±10 VDC down to ±1.25 VDC, or to ±20 mA.
Measurement performance is set by the 14-bit converter and the sampling mode in use. Single-channel polling reaches 100 kS/s, single-channel interrupt mode 50 kS/s, and the 8-channel scan mode 16 kS/s. Triggering can be internal or external. Input impedance (20 K, 200 K or 20 M) is selected by jumper.
Current inputs require an optional external 125 Ω resistor, which must be fitted for current-source measurement. The module provides ±4 kV ESD protection on each terminal and 2500 VDC isolation between the module's internal circuits. This CR variant has a blue cover and carries CE, FCC, RoHS and WEEE marking.
