The ET-2242U-32 provides 32 digital outputs in one DIN-rail Ethernet module, with each channel able to drive a 300 mA load. Every output is photocoupler isolated and short-circuit protected, and the Sink/Source type suits both NPN and PNP field wiring.
A built-in two-port Ethernet switch with LAN bypass supports daisy-chain topologies, which simplifies installation and reduces infrastructure cost. I/O Pair Connection allows remote DI data to be written to local DO channels in Pull mode via Modbus TCP, while the module can also be monitored over SNMP V2c or integrated through MQTT publish and subscribe messaging.
For electrically noisy plants, the module offers 3000 V DC I/O isolation and EMS protection against EFT, ESD and surge. Power-on and safe output values are programmable, and a built-in web server is available for configuration.
