The iP-8841-MTCP extends I-8K and I-87K series I/O modules over Ethernet, giving Modbus TCP masters remote access to analogue input and output, digital input and output, counter and frequency modules. More than 50 compatible I/O modules are supported across its eight slots, which makes it a practical choice for remote monitoring and control in industrial plants.
It suits electrically noisy, temperature-variable cabinets. The power input accepts 10 ~ 30 VDC and is isolated, and the unit operates from -25 ~ +75 °C. Auto configuration, LED fault indication, dual watchdog protection, programmable power-on values and safe values help simplify installation, maintenance and fault handling.
For integration, the unit supports Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII, and includes a Modbus TCP to RTU gateway function. The MiniOS7 platform can be programmed in C, with SDK support for Windows XP, Windows CE 5.0/6.0 and Linux, so engineers can adapt the preinstalled Modbus firmware to their own applications.
