USB-2064-16 is a full-speed USB I/O module that adds 16 Form A (SPST-NO) power relay outputs to a PC. Each relay switches up to 3 A at 250 VAC (47 ~ 63 Hz) or 30 VDC, so it can drive loads directly in building, factory and machine automation without an extra interface stage.
The module is bus powered and works plug-and-play without a driver. Dual watchdogs, a 1.6 second hardware watchdog and a programmable software watchdog, work with programmable power-on and safe values so outputs can be set to a defined state if communication fails. LED indicators show power, communication and the state of each relay.
An API library and demo code with source for Windows and Linux are provided for VB, C/C++, C#.NET, VB.NET and LabVIEW, so engineers can write their own USB applications. This ordering code includes a 1.5 M USB cable (CA-USB15) with a lockable connector.
