IR-712-MTCP-5 CR learns infrared remote commands from a wide range of electronic devices and stores them in the module or in a file for later reuse. Its two IR output channels can drive devices individually or simultaneously, making it a practical replacement for conventional IR remote controls in multi-device setups.
The Ethernet interface acts as a Modbus TCP/UDP server and also accepts DCON ASCII string commands over TCP/UDP. A Modbus client such as a PAC, PLC or PC can therefore trigger IR commands directly, which simplifies integration into control systems.
The supplied IR utility is used to configure the module, learn commands, test them and manage stored command libraries. This order includes two CA-IR-SH2251-5 emitter cables, whose remote control range is 125% of that of the CA-IR-SH2251 cable.
