The I-8811-G CR is an 8-slot embedded controller built around an 80188-40 CPU and the MiniOS7 DOS-like operating system. It accepts the full range of I-8K and I-87K I/O modules, including digital, analogue, counter/frequency and motion types, so one controller can be configured for a mixed I/O set in a single DIN-rail or wall-mounted unit.
Four serial COM ports (two RS-232, one RS-485 and one switchable RS-232/RS-485) make it suitable for remote data acquisition and control. Battery-backed S-256 or S-512 SRAM modules add data logging storage, and a built-in watchdog and hardware diagnostics help support unattended operation.
