Eight independent isolated inputs for wet contact signals. The I-8052-G CR provides eight differential digital input channels, each isolated from the others by photocoupler isolation rated at 2 kV channel-to-channel. Isolation between the module and the field side helps keep noisy or differing ground potentials from reaching the controller.
Each channel can be wired as sink-type or source-type input, so one module suits both common input wiring conventions without changing hardware. Eight LED indicators show the state of each input, which simplifies commissioning and fault finding on the panel. The input accepts ON levels from +3.5 to +30 VDC, with OFF level at +1 VDC maximum.
Supplied in a gray cover, the module belongs to the I-8K/I-87K low profile series and is intended for monitoring switches, contacts and similar signals in building, factory and machine automation, as well as remote maintenance, diagnosis and test equipment.
