I-8040PW-G CR is a 32-channel digital input module from the I-8K/I-87K High Profile series, designed for +24 VDC input systems in industrial environments. Each channel is photocoupler-isolated, and the module offers 3750 VDC intra-module isolation together with ±4 kV ESD protection on every terminal.
The input configuration can be set to sink or source through wiring, so one module can suit either wiring convention. Each channel accepts +19 ~ +30 VDC as ON and reads +11 VDC maximum as OFF. A low pass filter with settings from 1 ms to 70 ms, selected by jumper or CPU parameter, helps suppress noise, with a default of 10 ms.
- Optional daughter board connectivity, for example with the DN-37-381-A CR, to simplify field wiring.
This variant suits building, factory and machine automation, as well as remote maintenance and diagnosis and test equipment.
