The I-7013D CR is a single-channel RTD input module for measuring temperature directly from Pt100, Pt1000 and Ni120 sensors. It supports 2-, 3- and 4-wire RTD connections, and lead resistance elimination is available for 3- and 4-wire wiring, which helps preserve measurement accuracy over longer sensor cable runs.
Local readings appear on a 5-digit 7-segment LED display, while the RS-485 port communicates using the DCON protocol at 1200 to 115200 bps. Open wire detection and a built-in dual watchdog (module and communication) help engineers spot sensor faults and keep unattended installations running. 3000 VDC intra-module isolation separates the input from the rest of the module.
Supplied in a blue cover, the module is designed for DIN-rail mounting and a 10 to 30 VDC supply with reverse polarity protection. It is rated for an operating range of -25 to +75 °C and is typically used in:
