The I-7012D CR is a DIN-rail analog input module for measuring voltage and current signals and passing the results to a host over RS-485 using the DCON protocol. It suits engineers who need a single differential input with 16-bit resolution, a local readout and simple alarm outputs within an I-7000 remote I/O system.
The module provides one differential analog input with several voltage ranges from ±150 mV to ±10 V, plus a ±20 mA current range that needs an optional external 125 Ω resistor. Normal mode sampling runs at 10 Hz with an accuracy of ±0.05% of FSR. The single digital input can be used as a 50 Hz event counter, and two open-collector digital outputs support high/low alarm functions.
The D version adds a 5-digit, 7-segment LED display for local indication. Intra-module isolation is rated at 3000 VDC, and the unit operates from +10 ~ +30 VDC with reverse polarity protection across a -25 ~ +75 °C operating range.
