The GW-7663 CR is a PROFINET IO device that bridges a PROFINET controller and Modbus TCP devices. Engineers can bring existing Modbus equipment, including PLCs, sensors and ICP DAS ET-7000 series modules, onto a PROFINET network without replacing those devices.
The gateway supports both Modbus master and slave operation, and a generic GSDML file (version 2.25) is provided for PROFINET controller integration. Cyclic time is 1 ms minimum, and input and output data can each be up to 512 bytes. A utility software package is supplied for configuring the module.
Built around a 32-bit CPU with 32 MB SRAM and 4 MB flash, the unit is designed for DIN-rail installation and an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C. It carries CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE marks.
