The ET-7017 CR is an Ethernet I/O module that brings eight differential analogue inputs and four digital outputs onto a Modbus network. Each analogue channel can be set to voltage or current and given its own input range, which suits mixed sensor setups without changing hardware. This ordering code is listed with RoHS compliance.
The digital outputs are isolated open-collector sink types rated at 700 mA per channel, with short-circuit and overload protection. Power-on and safe values are programmable, so outputs can be defined for start-up and fault conditions. Sampling can be switched between normal mode at 10 Hz and fast mode at 50 Hz across all channels.
Host communication uses Modbus TCP or Modbus UDP over a single 10/100 Base-TX RJ-45 port. A built-in web server and web HMI are provided, Ethernet access is controlled by ID, password and IP filter, and dual watchdog functions are included.
