The PMD-4201-TC is a web-based power meter concentrator for engineers building energy monitoring and power management systems. It collects power data from ICP DAS Modbus power meters over RS-485 or Ethernet, records readings to a microSD card and presents them on a built-in 10.4-inch touch panel or through a browser, with no extra software tool needed for setup.
Control logic is configured through web pages rather than programming. A built-in IF-THEN-ELSE logic engine, timers, schedules and alarm notifications via LINE, Telegram or Email allow the unit to adjust connected I/O modules according to power status, supporting power demand management and load shedding where required.
For integration, the unit supports Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP and MQTT, and can connect to Microsoft Azure, IBM Bluemix and ICP DAS IoTstar cloud services. The Traditional Chinese (TC) variant is the version ordered under this code.
