IR-210 CR learns the infrared remote commands of a wide range of electronic devices and stores them in the module or in a file. Its six IR outputs can drive several devices individually or at the same time, making it a practical replacement for handheld remotes in automated systems.
Control is handled over RS-232 or RS-485. The module acts as a Modbus RTU slave, so it can be added to a PAC, PLC or PC acting as Modbus master. DCON ASCII string commands are also supported. A configuration utility and a PC API library cover learning, testing and storage of IR commands.
This order includes two CA-IR-SH2251 IR emitter cables. Their remote control range is 80% of that of the CA-IR-SH2251-5 cable, so check the required distance before selecting this variant.
