The I-9053P CR is a 16-channel digital input module from the I-9K/I-97K series for PAC I/O applications. Each channel accepts either a dry contact or a wet (voltage) signal, with the input type selected through wire connections, so one module can handle mixed field wiring without changing the hardware.
Every channel is photocoupler isolated, and the module provides 3750 VDC intra-module isolation along with ±4 kV contact and ±8 kV air ESD protection, which supports reliable operation in electrically noisy industrial environments. Dry contact inputs can be run over an effective distance of up to 500 m.
Each input is supported by an LED indicator, giving a quick visual check of channel status during commissioning and fault finding. The Sink/Source input type and selectable low pass filter (1 ms to 70 ms, set by jumper or CPU parameter, disabled by default) allow the input response to be tuned to the field signals.
