The ECAT-2011H is an EtherCAT SubDevice analog input module for engineers who need to bring 12-bit voltage or current signals onto an EtherCAT network. Each channel can be set in software as a differential or single-ended input, so one module covers either 8 differential or 16 single-ended signals.
Two RJ-45 bus ports allow modules to be daisy-chained, which reduces cabling and suits star, line or ring topologies. Input status is delivered through process data, and the module has been verified with the EtherCAT conformance test tool.
Selectable ranges include 0~10 V, ±10 V, ±5 V, ±2.5 V, 0~20 mA, ±20 mA, 4~20 mA and ±4~20 mA. The module runs from +10 to +30 VDC, mounts on DIN-rail and is specified for -25 ~ +75 °C operation. Range and filter settings are not configurable per channel.
