iSN-812-MRTU measures surface temperature without contact, reporting readings over a single RS-485 link using Modbus RTU. It suits engineers who need to feed real-time temperature data into a SCADA or other Modbus master without adding a separate sensor controller.
The 768-pixel (32x24) IR sensor covers a field of view of X: 110° and Y: 75°, with the distance-to-spot ratio given in the source data for each axis. The module is rated for measurement up to 2 m, an accuracy of ±5 °C max. and a range of -40 °C to 300 °C. Its built-in temperature threshold detection function lets you flag out-of-range conditions at the sensor itself.
The unit runs from a +10 to +30 VDC supply and draws 1.5 W. It mounts on DIN-rail, or magnetically or via a universal joint as optional accessories, and is specified for an operating range of -10 °C to 70 °C with 10% to 95% RH non-condensing humidity.
